Sutton D618S3B Diamond Core Bit Set 6, 8 and 10mm - 3 Piece, Wet/Dry, 10mm Hex Shank

The Sutton D618 S 3B (D618S3B) is a 3 piece wet/dry diamond core drill bit set with one each of 6, 8 and 10 mm bits, each with a 10 mm hex shank. They are used for drilling porcelain, ceramic, terracotta, marble and other tiles, wet or dry.

The special wax filled core is designed to aid cooling and give a cleaner job site, the vacuum brazed #40 diamond grit tip is designed for thermal and mechanical strength, and the 10 mm hex shank is designed for positive grip, preventing slippage in chucks. The bits can be used wet or dry: wet usage prolongs life and reduces dust.

Using the core bits

• Mark the hole position and, for a more accurate start, hold the bit in a Sutton diamond core guide.
• Use wet where possible: wet usage prolongs life and reduces dust. Dry use is possible.
• Run the drill without the hammer action and let the diamond do the cutting.
