Sutton D618H0500 5mm Wet/Dry Diamond Core Drill Bit - 10mm Hex Shank, for Tiles

The Sutton D618 wet/dry diamond core drill bits are 10 mm hex shank core bits in 9 sizes from 5 to 25 mm, with a 10 mm drilling depth. They are used for drilling porcelain, ceramic, terracotta, marble and other tiles, and can be used either wet or dry.

The special wax filled core is designed to aid cooling and give a cleaner job site, the vacuum brazed #40 diamond grit tip is designed for thermal and mechanical strength, and the 10 mm hex shank is designed for positive grip, preventing slippage in chucks. The bits can be used wet or dry: wet usage prolongs life and reduces dust.

• Mark the hole position and, for a more accurate start, hold the bit in a Sutton diamond core guide.
• Use wet where possible: wet usage prolongs life and reduces dust. Dry use is possible.
• Run the drill without the hammer action and let the diamond do the cutting.
