Sutton Z100SFT10 Tapmatic Synchroflex Tap Holder - Rigid Tapping - M1-M6

The Sutton Z100 Tapmatic Synchroflex Tap Holder is made for CNC machines running rigid tapping. A patented double flexure between the mount and the chuck compensates for the unavoidable differences between the programmed spindle speed, feed and traverse and the exact thread pitch and hole position. It is made in 3 sizes (SFT10, SFT50 and SFT75), covering taps from M1 to M16, and mounts on a 25 mm straight shank (SS).

The holder is designed to increase tap life by 100% or more, improve thread quality, and reduce tap breakage and downtime, with lower thrust and torque on the tap than a rigid steel collet holder. It is for machines with rigid tapping, so machine reversal is required.

Each size takes its own collet series: ER11 for the SFT10 (Z110 collets), ER20 for the SFT50 (Z111 collets) and ER25 for the SFT75 (Z112 collets). The collets are sold separately.

To mount the holder in a BT-40 or BT-50 spindle, use a Z130 BT arbor with 25 mm bore.
