SY side bow roller chain is built with extra lateral clearance between the link plates so the chain can flex sideways and run around horizontal curves and bends, the standard solution for serpentine and curved conveyor paths. Maintains the pitch geometry of standard chain so sprocket compatibility is preserved on the straight sections.
