This AAP stainless steel ball valve is a 3-piece full bore valve with a 316 stainless steel lever with a locking device. It is supplied in 11 sizes from 1/4 in (8 mm) to 4 in (100 mm).
A ball valve turns a ball with a hole through it between sealing seats. When the lever or handle is in line with the pipe the hole lines up with the flow and the valve is open, and a quarter turn closes it. AAP notes that the handle sits in line with the port, so it shows the valve position.
AAP gives a maximum working temperature of 180 degrees C and a cold working pressure of 6,895 kPa (68.95 bar), with a body in CF8M, a 316 stainless steel ball and stem, and a PTFE (Teflon) seat (manufacturer-stated). It suits air, water and hot or cold corrosive fluids in harsh environments, per the manufacturer.
A 3-piece valve has a centre body held between two end pieces, so the centre section can be removed for servicing while the end pieces stay in the pipeline. It has a full bore, so flow is passed with little restriction.

Choose the size to match your pipe thread. The 3-piece valve suits lines that will need servicing, and AAP also lists a 3-piece version with an actuator mounting pad.
