A forged class 3000 weld nipple that short pipe nipple with one threaded end and one plain end for butt-welding. Made to ASME B16.11-2009 from stainless steel 316 with male BSP threads, both ends cut at both ends. Stainless 316 construction makes it suitable for chemical, marine and food service. Pair with stainless mating pipe to avoid galvanic effects. As a hex nipple in stainless with BSP connections, it pairs cleanly with the rest of the AAP high-pressure range so a complete joint can be built from one supplier.
