The Grade 80 Clevis Shortening Clutch (2 Tonne to 5.4 Tonne) is a Grade 80 certified shortening clutch that allows chain sling leg length to be adjusted in the field without removing hardware.

Selecting the right option

Select shortening clutch WLL to match the chain sling leg rating. The clutch WLL applies only when used vertically — de-rate per the manufacturer's angular loading table for angled leg configurations. Shortening clutches must be engaged into the correct link orientation; consult the rating plate before use.
