CRC Oil Fighter 400ml

CRC Oil Fighter is an aerosol oil stain remover. CRC describes it as a simple spray on, brush off formula that removes fresh oil and grease stains. It sprays on as a liquid and dries to a powder that is swept, vacuumed or hosed off.

CRC lists it for concrete, paving, cobbles, masonry, timber and heavy duty carpets and mats, for automotive, industrial and household oil stains. It is not for asphalt or for sealed or coloured concrete.

Selecting the right option

Using it

Wipe up any excess oil. Shake the can well until the ball moves freely.

Hold the can upside down 150 mm directly above the stain. Spray the stained area, extending the application 20 mm past the stain.

Allow it to dry completely to a powder, which takes 1 to 2 hours depending on temperature, humidity and ventilation.

Sweep or vacuum up the powder. On rough or porous surfaces, brushing or hosing off with water may be required.

If staining remains, reapply, scrub with a stiff bristled brush and repeat the drying and sweeping steps.

Storage and handling

Store below 50 °C. CRC warns that the can is a pressurised container.
