CRC Perma-Mend Repair Patch 76 x 153mm

CRC Perma-Mend is a self-adhesive repair patch made of fibreglass-reinforced polyester. It is activated by UV or sunlight, and CRC's catalogue lists it as needing no mixing and no weighing.

CRC lists cure in as little as 5 minutes in high-intensity sunlight and 50 minutes when cloudy. Once cured it can be drilled, tapped, sanded and painted in under 1 hour. Two sizes are listed here: 76 x 153 mm and 229 x 305 mm.

Selecting the right option

Using it

CRC's published data gives no application directions for this product. Follow the directions supplied with the pack and read the safety data sheet before use.

Storage and handling

The SDS says to store in a cool, dry area with containers tightly sealed, labelled and protected from physical damage, and to store locked up. Keep away from heat, ignition sources and oxidising agents. CRC gives no shelf life.

Danger. May cause an allergic skin reaction (H317). Causes eye irritation (H320). May cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled (H334). Suspected of causing cancer (H351).
