Start with the job: freeing or lubricating (lubricants and penetrants), protecting a thread or joint (greases and anti-seize), cleaning (degreasers and cleaners), or protecting metal (rust, primers and coatings). Then check the pack size in the title, from small pens and aerosols to 4 L and 20 L containers. Several products are listed as food grade in their titles. Which CRC products are penetrants?
The range includes Penetr8 high speed penetrant, 2-26 electrical lubricant and penetrant, 5-56 multi-purpose lubricant, and a non silicone penetrating oil listed as food grade. Check the data sheet for the one that suits your job.
What is the difference between a lubricant, a grease and an anti-seize compound?
Lubricants and oils are usually sprayed or applied as a thin film, while greases are thicker and stay where they are put. Anti-seize compounds are applied to threads and joints. The collection has all three, so check the title and data sheet for the product that suits your application.
Do you have food grade CRC products?
