Euroboor HMSU.120 12 x 35mm TCT Annular Cutter

Euroboor 35mm depth of cut TCT annular cutters are tungsten carbide tipped cutters with a 19.05mm (3/4") Nitto/Weldon shank, produced for very hard and difficult materials such as Hardox, stainless steel and railway tracks (manufacturer-stated). This page lists 35 sizes from 12mm to 52mm diameter.

Sizes run in 1mm steps from 12mm to 40mm, then in 2mm steps to 52mm. The Euroboor catalogue lists IBC.70 as the pilot pin for 12mm to 16mm and IBC.85 for 17mm to 52mm (manufacturer-stated).

Selecting the right option

Pick the diameter, then the pilot pin shown for that size in the table. This is the 35mm depth of cut TCT series; for a deeper cut see the Euroboor 55mm depth of cut TCT cutters. TCT cutters need a higher speed than HSS cutters (manufacturer-stated), and for plain steel work the 30mm depth of cut HSS cutters or 55mm depth of cut HSS cutters may be the more usual choice.
