M30 x 56 x 4.0mm Flat Round Washer, 316 Stainless Steel - FWAA4M30

The Flat Round Washer DIN125A Stainless Steel is a flat ring that spreads the clamping load of a nut or bolt head and protects the surface being fixed.

Made from 316 (A4) stainless steel, the grade normally specified for chloride-exposed work such as coastal installations, swimming pools, marine fittings and food-processing plant. Metric sizes are written M followed by the nominal thread diameter in millimetres, so M10 is a 10 mm thread.

You can choose from 3 variants, covering sizes M30 x 56 x 4.0mm to M36 x 66 x 5.0mm. Variants are supplied in packs of 10 to 20, depending on size.

In wet conditions, keep stainless steel apart from aluminium and galvanised steel with a washer or sleeve, to reduce the risk of galvanic corrosion.

Selecting the right option

Match the washer to the fastener size, and check outer diameter and thickness for the load. Washers are listed by the size of bolt they suit. Use stainless washers with stainless bolts to avoid mixed-metal corrosion. Where chlorides are not a concern, the A2 (304) version costs less: Inox Standard Flat Round Washer - 304 Stainless Steel.
