The Loctite Epoxy Instant Mix 5 Minute (part 1162941) is a two-part epoxy resin and hardener in a self-mixing syringe that dispenses equal volumes through the nozzle. It starts to set in about 5 minutes and cures to a tough, rigid bond with 17.2 N/mm² tensile shear strength on steel, working as both an adhesive and a gap filler. It bonds metal, glass, ceramic, wood, tile, stone and many rigid plastics, and once cured can be sanded and drilled without cracking. This is the 14 ml syringe.
Dispense through the mixing nozzle at 4°C to 35°C, position the parts within the set time, and allow about 20 minutes for usable strength and 24 hours for full cure. It isn't suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon or flexible materials, or for bonds above 49°C, constant immersion or potable water. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before use.
