Loctite HY 4070 Universal Repair Hybrid Adhesive 11g

The Loctite HY 4070 Universal Repair Hybrid Adhesive is a two-part cyanoacrylate/acrylic hybrid that fixtures fast at room temperature in bond gaps up to 5 mm. It bonds many plastics, rubbers and metals, reaching 25 N/mm² lap shear strength on grit-blasted mild steel, and any excess adhesive fully cures. The non-sag gel stays put on vertical and overhead work, and the cured bond handles -40°C to +100°C. This is the 11 g syringe.

Holding the syringe upright, dispense until both parts flow free of bubbles, fit the mixing nozzle and discard a short bead, then apply to one surface and assemble straight away, as gel time in the nozzle is 4 to 5 minutes. Fixture takes under 60 seconds in thin gaps on aluminium and 4 to 6 minutes at 2 mm, and the bond needs about 24 hours before taking service loads. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before use.
