The Loctite AA 324 Speedbonder Structural Adhesive (formerly Loctite 324) is a general-purpose, one-part acrylic structural adhesive formulated for toughness and impact strength. Used with Activator SF 7387, it cures between close-fitting parts and is a go-to for bonding ferrite magnets to plated housings in electric motors and loudspeakers. It reaches 18 N/mm² lap shear on grit-blasted steel and stretches to 170% elongation, so joints absorb flexing and shock. This is the 50 ml bottle.
Put the activator on one face and the adhesive on the other, aiming for a 0.1 mm gap; activating both faces lets it bridge up to 0.5 mm and cure faster, then hold the parts until fixtured and give it one to three days before loading. It is not a good choice for plastics, especially thermoplastics prone to stress cracking, or for pure-oxygen and strong-oxidiser service. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before use.
