The Loctite PC 5070 PRO Pipe Repair Kit is a complete emergency pipe repair system for pressurised or depressurised lines up to 102 mm (4") in diameter. It seals live leaks up to 4.1 bar, and once the epoxy and wrap have cured the repair is rated to 20.7 bar. It works on copper, steel, stainless steel, PVC, FRP, clay, concrete and rubber, and is flexible enough for joints, tees, couplings, pinholes and cracks. Available in 2" (up to 51 mm) and 4" (up to 102 mm).
The kit is layered: the EA 3463 epoxy stick plugs the leak, rubber tape seals the pressure, then the water-activated fibreglass wrap and compression film lock it in, with the epoxy curing in about 10 minutes and the wrap in about 30. Apply it between 10°C and 30°C with no hot work needed, and keep it away from pure-oxygen and strong-oxidiser service. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before use.
