Loctite SI 5920 Copper Maxx Silicone

The Loctite SI 5920 Copper High Temperature RTV Silicone is a copper-coloured, one-part, moisture-curing silicone gasket maker for high-temperature gasketing and sealing, typically used up to 350°C. It is non-corrosive, so it suits corrosion-sensitive assemblies and electrical insulating work. The thixotropic paste stays where you put it, fills gaps up to 1.0 mm and cures to a flexible seal with 350% or more elongation that resists ageing, weathering and thermal cycling. This is the 85 g tube.

Air starts the cure, so apply it to clean, grease-free flanges and assemble within a few minutes; it skins in about 20 minutes, is tack-free in 20 to 60 minutes, and should be left to fully cure (for example seven days) before heavy loads. Avoid contact with petrol, and don't use it in pure-oxygen or strong-oxidiser service. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before use.
