The Loctite PC 7228 Nordbak Brushable Ceramic White (formerly Nordbak Brushable Ceramic White 7228) is an ultra-smooth, ceramic-reinforced epoxy coating. It brushes on to a high-gloss, low-friction finish that protects equipment against turbulence, abrasion and corrosion, either on its own or as a top coat over Loctite Nordbak wearing compounds. It covers about 1.1 m² per kg at 0.5 mm and is typically used from -29°C to +93°C dry. This is the 1 kg kit.
After cleaning, drying and abrading the surface (ideally grit-blasted), mix the hardener into the resin for three to five minutes at 20°C to 30°C and brush it on; you can recoat after 1 to 3 hours, with cure in about 5 hours at 25°C. Keep open flame off the cured coating, wear a supplied-air respirator for nearby welding or torch cutting, and don't use it in pure-oxygen or strong-oxidiser service.
