Sutton B214SL3L6 Taper Radius End Carbide Burr, 3/8" x 1-1/16", Double Cut, Long Reach

The Sutton B214SL3L6 is a long reach, double cut, taper shape radius end carbide burr with a solid carbide (VHM) head and bright finish, supplied with a 1/4" (6.35 mm) shank. Head diameter is 3/8" (9.5 mm), cut length is 1-1/16" (27 mm), overall length is 7-1/16" (179.4 mm) and the shank diameter is 1/4" (6.35 mm).

The double cut (chisel tooth) pattern is for rapid stock removal in the harder materials. The chisel tooth pattern is designed to minimise tool chatter and reduce the chip to a granular shape in most materials.

Fit it to a die grinder or other high-speed rotary tool with a collet that matches the shank, and cut at a reduced speed, with cutting speeds reduced by 50% for long shank carbide burrs.
