The Sutton H122 quick release pilot drills are 6.35 mm (1/4 in) HSS replacement pilot drills for the H122 quick release arbor, in two lengths: 105 mm (H122 6006) and 125 mm (H122 6106).
The pilot drill sets the centre of the hole and is designed to keep the holesaw located as the cut starts. Use the 125 mm pilot with deeper holesaws or where a longer reach is needed, and the 105 mm pilot for general use. A TCT pilot drill, H122 6206, is also available.
Where this product is used
- Replacing a worn or broken pilot drill in the H122 quick release arbor.
- Centring the holesaw when cutting steel, aluminium, plastics and timber on electrical, plumbing and maintenance jobs.

Using the product
- Fit the pilot drill so it protrudes beyond the holesaw teeth.
- Replace the pilot drill when it is worn, blunt or bent.
- Start at a low speed and use cutting fluid when cutting steel.
