Selecting the right option

Check the bore ID against your axle, the hub length against the space in your fork or frame, and the load capacity per wheel against the total load shared across all the wheels. The bore ID and bush ID are as listed by EHI, so confirm the axle size you need with AIMS before ordering. Choose the wheel material for your floor type first, using the EHI ratings above, then check the load. Precision ball bearings have balls running between a tempered inner and outer ring. EHI states that they are sealed for lifelong lubrication and give very good operating properties under heavy loads and at high speeds (manufacturer-stated). Load capacity is shown per wheel (manufacturer-stated). For castors on a four wheel trolley EHI recommends each castor is rated for at least 35 percent of the total load, which is the weight of the trolley plus what it carries (manufacturer-stated).
