LOTO Safety Padlocks

Safety padlocks are the foundation of every lockout tagout programme. Unlike a standard padlock, a LOTO padlock is designed with a narrow shackle diameter to fit standard hasp eyelets, bright safety colours for instant visual identification, and a keying system that ensures only the issuing worker holds the key.

• Master Lock 410 Thermoplastic Safety Padlock — the industry-standard 38mm LOTO padlock. Lightweight thermoplastic body in red, available individually or as keyed-alike sets. Resistant to corrosion, solvents and moisture — well suited to food manufacturing, chemical plants and outdoor plant.
• Master Lock Thermoplastic Safety Padlock Keyed Alike — Set of 6 — six identical padlocks with matching keys, ideal for supervisor-controlled gang lockout procedures or issuing site-standard LOTO packs to maintenance crews.

Lockout Hasps

Hasps allow multiple workers to apply their individual padlocks to a single isolation point — the energy source cannot be re-energised until every lock has been removed. Master Lock hasps are the site standard across Australian industry.

Circuit Breaker & Electrical Lockouts

Electrical isolation is the most common LOTO application in Australian workplaces. Master Lock's dedicated circuit breaker lockout devices clip directly over MCB toggles and plug sockets, removing the need for improvised tape or tag-only procedures.

• Master Lock 8mm Shackle Collar With Rivet and 6.5mm Shackle Collar With Rivet — shackle collars retrofit a standard padlock shackle to act as a cable anchor point on valve stems and irregular pipe fittings.
• Master Lock Rotating Gate Valve Lockout — Set of 5 Different Sizes — five rotating-jaw devices sized to fit gate valve handwheels from 25mm to 125mm diameter. Accepts a padlock through the hasp eye.

Tags and labels are a mandatory element of any lockout tagout procedure — they communicate the isolation status, the authorised worker's identity, and the reason for isolation to anyone approaching the equipment.
