Choosing an idler sprocket or pulley
For a chain drive, match the sprocket pitch to your chain and then choose the tooth count and bore. The range includes single pitch and double pitch idler sprockets and a detachable link chain idler sprocket. For a belt drive, choose the pulley by belt type: flat, V-belt (A, B and C section), round belt or rubber tyre, then the outside diameter, bore and width.
Many listings have several size options, so check the variant list for the exact teeth, bore, outside diameter and width you need.
