2 in (50 mm) Ball Check Valve, PN10, Table E | VFBC50

This AAP resilient seat flanged ball check valve has a ductile iron body and cover, an EPDM encapsulated ball and flanges to AS 2129 Table E (manufacturer-stated). It is supplied in 6 sizes from 2 in (50 mm) to 10 in (250 mm).

A ball check valve is used where full, uninterrupted flow is needed. When the pump runs, flow pushes the ball into a pocket in the body, out of the flow path. When the pump stops, the ball falls back into the flow path with the help of the back pressure and blocks any return of fluid to the pump. AAP describes the ball as steel encapsulated in EPDM.

AAP gives a maximum working temperature of 120 degrees C and a cold working pressure of 1,000 kPa (10 bar), with flanges to AS 2129 Table E and face-to-face length to DIN 3202 (all manufacturer-stated), and lists the valve for water treatment plants. It is a PN10 valve.

Hole count and hole diameter change with size, so check them against your own flange before you order.

Choose the size to match your Table E flanges, and check the hole count against your mating flange. AAP also lists a Table D version in 4 in, 6 in and 10 in.
