Beaver Vertical Drum Lifting Clamp, 500 kg WLL, 200 L Drums (262500)

The Beaver vertical drum lifting clamp, code 262500, has a working load limit (WLL) of 500 kg and is designed specifically for vertical lifts of drums up to 200 L (manufacturer-stated). Beaver says it is made from high tensile steel and suits drums with a lid, and lists its height as 470 mm and its weight as 5 kg (manufacturer-stated).

Beaver states the clamp complies with AS 4991 (manufacturer-stated). Beaver publishes no information on drum construction, lid fitting, rim condition, drum fill or tilt limits for the clamp, and no proof load or breaking load. Beaver's manual lists a drum lifting sling for 205 litre steel drums but gives 200 L as the drum size for this clamp. Check with AIMS or Beaver before lifting any drum that is not a 200 L drum with a lid. Lifting equipment must be used within its marked working load limit (WLL), inspected before each use, and selected and used in line with your site lifting procedure and the relevant Australian Standards. Selecting the right option

The 500 kg WLL is the most the clamp is rated to lift, including the drum and its contents, and Beaver's drum size is up to 200 L. If you are unsure whether the clamp suits your drum, ask AIMS before ordering.
