Beaver YC Industrial Girder Clamp, 1 t WLL, 75-230 mm Beam (270010Y)

Beaver YC industrial girder clamps are colour coded steel beam clamps that Beaver describes as a quick and versatile point for lifting, rigging and hoisting, for permanent or temporary mounting (manufacturer-stated). A threaded adjustment bar sets the clamp to the beam flange, and the jaws are designed to apply the load away from the flange edge to reduce flange stress (manufacturer-stated). Beaver states the clamps comply with AS 4991 (manufacturer-stated). It says every clamp is operationally tested to 150% of its working load limit (WLL) and comes with an individual test certificate, and that each clamp has a serial number stamped on the body and on the stainless steel ID plate that matches the test certificate (manufacturer-stated).

Choose the WLL to suit the load and any rigging, then check the beam width range against the width of your beam flange and the headroom you have. The clamp is only as strong as the beam it is on, and Beaver states that selecting the beam is the user's responsibility, so if you are unsure ask AIMS, a qualified rigger or an engineer before ordering.
