BECO BJ20A PTFE Lined Thrust Spherical Plain Bearing, Open, 20 x 55 x 20 mm

BECO maintenance-free thrust (axial) spherical plain bearings to DIN ISO 12240-3 carry pure axial load centred on the bearing axis, while still letting the shaft sit out of square. The housing washer carries a PTFE sliding layer running against a hard chromium plated shaft washer, so the joint runs dry, with no grease point and no relubrication schedule. That suits fixed-direction loads and any position where oil or grease is unwanted or cannot be reached.
It is supplied open: with no grease to retain, the PTFE liner needs no seals. This range has 15 sizes with bores from 10 to 100 mm.

Selecting the right option
Select by bore d first, then check the outside diameter D, height H, housing washer thickness and sphere diameter dK in the table against the housing and the mating part.

PTFE lined joints suit steady, fixed-direction loads. For shock or alternating loads, the steel on steel type is the one built for it.
Fitting and use
Press only on the washer being fitted, and never through the sliding surfaces of the joint.
PTFE lined bearings are maintenance-free and need no relubrication.
