Selecting the right option
This is a spray-on seal for external and hard surfaces. For a bead sealant see CRC RTV Silicone Select-A-Bead Sealant, and to find a gas or air leak before sealing see CRC Leak Detector Water Based 510g.
Using it
Remove dirt, debris, loose rust and any pooled water from the surface. Mask surrounding areas if required.
Shake until the agitator ball moves freely, then for at least one further minute.
Spray 10-20 cm from the surface in a smooth, even coating. Allow 15 min before subsequent coats, and repeat until a thick seal is built up.
Wider gaps and cracks need multiple applications.
Wipe the nozzle clean after use. If it clogs, remove the button and clean the slot and orifice with wire.
