Selecting the right option
Type F has a male BSP thread, so it screws into a female BSP port. It connects to a Type B, C or D coupler of the same size. Check your media against the CF8M stainless steel body and the nitrile Buna rubber seal; a different seal changes the media and pressure limits (the rating follows the seal of the mating part, manufacturer-stated). Dixon states that no standard exists for 15 mm (1/2") fittings and that this size generally does not interchange with other manufacturers (manufacturer-stated). Dixon states that dust caps and dust plugs must not be used in any pressure application (manufacturer-stated).
