Dixon also lists this coupling in 250 and 300 NB; those sizes are not part of this product. Not for use with hydrocarbons such as petroleum, kerosene and diesel when fitted with the standard EPDM gasket (manufacturer-stated).
Selecting the right option
A rigid coupling suits lines that must not flex. If the line needs to move or absorb thermal growth, use a flexible coupling (see Related products). Match the pipe OD exactly: Dixon's 150 NB size is 165.1 mm, and a separate transition coupling handles the 168.3 mm USA size. Choose the gasket for the fluid: EPDM for water, nitrile for petroleum products (manufacturer-stated).
