Loctite 454 Prism Instant Adhesive Gel

The Loctite 454 Instant Adhesive Gel (formerly Prism 454) is a clear ethyl cyanoacrylate gel that will not run, even on vertical and overhead surfaces. It fills gaps up to 0.25 mm and reaches 20.9 N/mm² lap shear strength on grit-blasted steel. It bonds metals, elastomers, most plastics and porous materials, and handles PP, PE and PTFE with SF 770 primer. This is the 20 g tube.

Apply to one clean, dry surface and position the parts accurately within a few seconds; it fixtures in 30 to 60 seconds on steel and faster on many plastics and rubbers. Give it 24 to 72 hours before full load, keep unopened stock in the fridge, and do not use it in oxygen, chlorine or strong oxidiser service. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before use.
