The Loctite SF 7452 Tak Pak Accelerator (formerly Loctite 7452) is an activator that speeds up the cure of Loctite cyanoacrylate instant adhesives. It can go on before or after the adhesive, and it is especially useful applied afterwards, curing exposed adhesive and excess around the joint for rapid fixturing. With Loctite 495 on grit-blasted steel and both sides activated, fixture time drops to about 10 seconds. This is the 20 g bottle.
Spray or drop it over freshly applied adhesive at roughly one drop per drop, or coat the bond area first, let it dry for about 30 seconds and apply the adhesive within 5 minutes. The acetone-based solvent is highly flammable and can attack some plastics and coatings, so test first, work with good ventilation, and never mix it with adhesive as liquids.
