Loctite LB 8008 C5-A Copper Anti-Seize

The Loctite LB 8008 C5-A Copper Anti-Seize (formerly C5-A, part 51007) is a smooth copper and graphite paste in grease that protects mated parts from high-temperature seizing and galling. It works from -29°C to +982°C, so studs, bolts, flanges and gaskets come apart more easily and in better condition. It suits copper, brass, cast iron, steel and stainless alloys, and is tested to MIL-PRF-907-H. This is the 454 g brush-top can.

Brush a thin layer over the clean threads and flats of nuts and bolts, then assemble as normal. It helps give more even clamp load for the same torque, but keep it out of oxygen-rich systems and away from chlorine and strong oxidisers. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before use.
