The Loctite LB 8009 Heavy Duty Anti-Seize (formerly Loctite Heavy Duty Anti-Seize, part 51606) is a grey, metal-free graphite and calcium fluoride paste. With no lead, copper, sulphur or free metals, it is compatible with stainless steel and nickel alloys. It works from -29°C to +1,315°C, so fixings still come apart after long service at high temperature. This is the 510 g brush-top can.
Brush a thin coat onto clean, grease-free mating surfaces and assemble, using it undiluted. It gives more uniform clamp load for the same tightening torque, but it is not for oxygen-rich systems or use with chlorine and strong oxidisers. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before use.
