The Loctite LB 771 Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant (formerly Loctite 771) is a heavy-duty, high-temperature paste that protects threaded and mating parts from galling, seizing and corrosion. Made from mineral oil, nickel and graphite, this thick silver paste works across an operating range of -54°C to 1,315°C and is especially suited to stainless steel threads and press fits. This is the 500 g tub.
The nickel content stays intact up to 1,315°C, so parts come apart cleanly even after exposure to hot or corrosive conditions. It resists attack by acids, ammonia, acetylene and vinyl monomer, and is non-curing so it stays workable. Note the important limits below: it is not for pure-oxygen systems, not a high-speed load-carrying lubricant (avoid ball and roller bearings), and not recommended for high-stress grade 8 bolts.
