Loctite 55 Pipe Sealing Cord

Immediate seal with no cure — the line can go into service straight away. Seals metal and plastic tapered pipe threads and fittings up to 4" NPT and BSP. Joint can still be adjusted up to 45° after tightening. Loctite 55 Pipe Cord winds straight from the dispenser onto the thread, with a built-in cutter, for gas, water and industrial fluids up to 150°C. Fill the thread grooves without masking the peaks, and do not over-apply. Not for parallel/parallel joints, fuels or glycol.

Joint adjustment: up to 45° after tightening. Approvals: DVGW (EN 751-2, class ARp); BS 6920 (WRAS); KTW-BWGL; NSF/ANSI 61 (to 82°C); AGA to AS 4623 (Class III, 2,000 kPa).
