Loctite 5770 Thread Sealant
Available
Seals steam joints — tested on forged steel fittings with 280°C steam at 6.4 MPa. Medium strength — locks threads against shock and vibration, removable with hand tools. Resists oils, ATF, petrol, brake fluid, glycol, biodiesel and AdBlue once cured. Loctite 5770 is a thixotropic anaerobic paste for locking and sealing metal threaded pipes and fittings in industrial plant, particularly steel steam piping. Allow at least 24 hours for full pressure and solvent resistance, and use Activator SF 7471 or SF 7649 on inactive metals.
Product: Loctite 5770 High Temperature Thread Sealant. Size: 50 ml. Technology: acrylic, anaerobic. Chemical type: dimethacrylate ester. Appearance: off-white to purplish grey paste.
