The M175 is 63 mm in diameter and 36 mm high in Duro 45 with a 1/2 W stud; the M174 is 50 mm in diameter and 50 mm high in Duro 60 with a 3/8 UNF stud. Mackay's 09/2026 catalogue lists both in a section headed "These are no longer available, refer to above parts", and marks the M174 "NLA. Refer to MA17460" (manufacturer-stated).

Letters follow Mackay's drawing: A is the diameter, B the height, C the stud thread and D the stud length. "W" in 1/2 W is printed that way in the catalogue. Static load and buffing load are Mackay's column names.

Mackay lists both parts as no longer available and refers readers to current parts, so check with Mackay before you plan around them. For a Duro 60, 50 x 50 mm buffer, Mackay points to the MA17460 (linked below); compare its thread, static load and buffing load with the M174 first. The catalogue gives no application notes for these parts. Mackay prints all properties as nominal and asks you to contact them for technical advice.
