This listing is the M169 with snubbing washer: three part numbers in Duro 40, 50 and 60 for loads of 100 to 250 kg.

The K versions (M16940K, M16950K and M16960K) are supplied with the M16911 snubbing washer. Mackay says the snubbing washer is supplied with the M169 only and that, when the nut is tightened against it, the rebound shoulder forms automatically (manufacturer-stated).

• Insert the part in the socket and rotate it by hand while applying axial force until it is partially positioned (manufacturer-stated).
• Insert the driving bolt, stud or assembly fixture in the metal inner member, taking care that the driving device does not overhang the outside diameter of the inner member (manufacturer-stated).
• Apply pressure to the driving device to seat the mounting in its socket, then assemble the other elements of the support, insert the mounting bolt and tighten to the required torque (manufacturer-stated).
