Mackay M18840 Hy-Deflection Isolator, 50 to 350 kg Compression

The Mackay Hy-Deflection isolator is a lattice-style rubber isolator that gives flexible support to mechanical equipment subject to intermittent or continuous, low frequency, high amplitude vibration (manufacturer-stated). It comes in three part numbers, M18840, M18860 and M18875, with compression loads from 50 up to 1400 kg and deflections up to 28 mm.
Mackay says the design gives a soft spring rate in all directions with exceptional horizontal stability, and recommends it where the disturbing or forced frequency is as low as 5 hertz. Mackay also says it is not suitable for applications involving repetitive shock load (manufacturer-stated). Each isolator weighs 10.0 kg.

Choose the part number by load first: M18840 covers 50 to 350 kg in compression, M18860 100 to 800 kg and M18875 100 to 1400 kg. Then read the deflection for your load in the chart above. Mackay says it is not suitable for repetitive shock load. Check the 276 mm base hole spacing, 19 mm holes and 5/8 UNF top thread against your equipment.
