The Mackay instrument isolator range is widely used to isolate steady static vibration and to control occasional shock (manufacturer-stated). Mackay says the mountings are easy to install and come in configurations to suit a variety of design requirements, and that the type is particularly suitable for isolating noise transmission and similar high-frequency vibration (manufacturer-stated).
Four variants are listed, M1164 (1.8 kg), M1166 (2.7 kg), M1168 (3.6 kg) and M11612 (5.4 kg). They share one body: a 44 mm square-plate mount 16 mm high with 35 mm hole spacing and 4 mm holes, 1.5 mm deflection and 0.03 kg weight. Mackay does not supply snubbing washers with these mounts.

Dimensions are in millimetres and are the same for all four parts (Mackay prints them once, under M116). The letters follow the catalogue drawing: A centre hole diameter, B diameter, C plate thickness, D height, E hole spacing, F plate size, G mounting hole diameter. Mackay prints all properties as nominal and asks you to contact them for technical advice.
Selecting the right option
Choose by load: the four parts step from 1.8 to 5.4 kg, so work out the share of weight each mount carries and pick the one that matches. These are small, light-duty mounts, so confirm the load with Mackay for anything near the top of the range. Check the 35 mm hole spacing and 4 mm holes against your bracket, and plan to source snubbing washers separately if you want the interlock Mackay recommends.
