Powerband - ISO - Narrow Section - Heavy Duty Belt

• Gates Predator Powerband offers a solution for drives where single belts vibrate, turn offer or jump off the pulleys.
• It consists of several V-belts joined together by a permanent, high strength tie band, thus being tougher than all the belts taken separately.
• Predator Powerband is especially designed for demanding applications and harsh environments, offering a high resistance to vibration.
• Classical B and C sections are available on request.

About Predator Matching System

• Predator belts have a matching system which must be used on multiple belt drives.
• This applies to both Single and Powerband versions of Predator belts.
• Predator belts are marked with a match/group number between 46 to 54 and each belt on a drive must have the same match/ group number.
• Each matching number refers to a length tolerance range.
• The limited stretch characteristic of the Predator belts makes it necessary to match them in this way.
• If matched belts are not used then it will severely impact performance and life.

• Fibre-loaded compound for improved belt stability
• Gates Curves provide full contact with pulley grooves for uniform loading of cords, uniform wear and increased belt life
• Non self-igniting - the belt will not catch fire from heat build-up, even with severe slippage
• Static conductive - ISO 1813 (SPB & SPC Predator Powerbands only)
