LOCTITE 515 is a form-in-place anaerobic-curing flange sealant that cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. Seals close-fitting joints between rigid metal faces and flanges and will flex with minor flange movements. Provides resistance to low pressures immediately after assembly. Fixture time: 30 min. Gap fill: 0.25 mm. Lap shear strength: 6.0 N/mm2. Viscosity: 150,000 to 375,000 mPa·s. Chemical basis: Methacrylate. Colour: Purple. Storage temperature: 8 to 21°C.
