Loctite LB 8713 Super Penetrating Oil is a clear, liquid aerosol penetrating oil based on a petroleum distillate. It is used to release rusted or frozen lugs, bolts, screws, fasteners and metal components.
Its low surface tension lets it penetrate between close-fitting parts, and Henkel states it is also used as a lubricant for moving parts. It contains no CFC and will not affect painted surfaces.

Using it
Spray an even coat from a distance of about 20 to 25 cm.
In extreme cases a second application may be necessary.
Storage and handling
Optimal storage is 8 °C to 21 °C. Storage below 8 °C or above 28 °C can adversely affect properties. The product is classified as flammable: store it in line with the relevant regulations and keep it away from oxidising agents and combustible materials.
Limits and safety
Not recommended for pure oxygen or oxygen-rich systems, and not to be selected as a sealant for chlorine or other strong oxidising materials. Read the safety data sheet before use.
