Loctite LB 8151 Silver Grade Anti-Seize

The Loctite LB 8151 Silver Grade Anti-Seize Aerosol (formerly Loctite 8151) is a heavy-duty, silver-grade anti-seize spray for threaded connections in high-temperature service. Its mineral-oil base with lithium soap, aluminium, graphite and extreme-pressure additives leaves a grey film that stops threads seizing, jamming and corroding, so they come apart easily later. It is typically used from -30°C to +900°C, on jobs like engine exhausts and oil and gas burner fittings. This is the 340 g aerosol.

Clean the parts free of grease (Loctite 7063 or 7070 cleaners help remove oxides and old lubricant), shake the can well and spray an even film from 15 to 20 cm; there is nothing to cure. The aerosol is highly flammable, so store it away from oxidisers and combustibles, and don't use it in pure-oxygen systems. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before use.
