Sutton solid carbide rotary burrs are precision-ground deburring and material removal tools used in die grinders, flexible shafts, and rotary tools. Available in double-cut (for ferrous metals) and aluminium-cut (single-cut for non-ferrous) geometries, and in standard and long-reach lengths.

Selecting the right option

Double-cut burrs suit ferrous metals and produce a faster, rougher cut; aluminium-cut (single flute) suits aluminium, copper, and plastics without chip loading. Match burr shape to the work geometry: cylindrical for flat surfaces and slots, ball for concave profiles and blends, tree-shape for porting and profiling, cone for deburring edges and countersinking. Use long-reach burrs only where necessary — shorter shanks are stiffer and give better control.
