Sutton B317SD3AC Ball Shape Carbide Burr, 9.5mm, 6mm Shank, Aluminium Cut

The Sutton B317SD3AC is an aluminium cut, ball shape carbide burr with a solid carbide (VHM) head and bright finish, supplied with a 6 mm shank. Head diameter is 9.5mm, overall length is 52mm and the shank diameter is 6mm.

The Al Cut pattern is for rapid stock removal of soft materials such as aluminium, brass, copper and plastics that would normally load other cuts.

Fit it to a die grinder or other high-speed rotary tool with a collet that matches the shank, and keep to the recommended speeds for the head diameter shown below.

• Cavity and pocket work, and shaping concave surfaces
• Blending out weld pits, scratches and undercuts
• Die, mould and casting finishing, and porting
