Air-operated double diaphragm pumps (AODD) are the industrial workhorse for moving aggressive chemicals, viscous fluids, slurries, and anything that would damage a standard centrifugal pump. With no motor and no electrical components in contact with the fluid, AODD pumps are inherently safe, explosion-proof, and easy to maintain. AIMS Industrial stocks diaphragm pumps from Alemlube, Macnaught, and Samoa, covering port sizes from 1/4” to 3” and flow rates from 12 LPM to 492 LPM.

The AIMS AODD Pump Range

We stock diaphragm pumps in four body materials — each suited to different chemical compatibility requirements and operating conditions.

• Aluminium AODD Pumps: Alemlube aluminium air-operated diaphragm pumps in multiple port sizes — the standard choice for mineral oils, lubricants, mild solvents, and non-corrosive fluids. Robust, cost-effective, and widely compatible.
• Polypropylene AODD Pumps: Alemlube polypropylene diaphragm pump and Alemlube poly diaphragm pumps (1/4” to 3/8”, 12–34 LPM) for acids, caustics, AdBlue, and other corrosive chemicals that would attack aluminium or cast iron. Lightweight and chemically resistant.
• Stainless Steel AODD Pumps: Alemlube diaphragm pump SS for pharmaceutical, food processing, and high-purity applications where contamination from metal ions must be eliminated. Also compatible with many aggressive solvents.
• Macnaught AODD Pump Range: Macnaught air-operated double diaphragm pumps in 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”, 1.5”, 2”, and 3” port sizes — providing a matched diaphragm pump for every flow rate requirement from small lab and workshop to large industrial transfer.
• High-Flow & Specialist Options: The Alemlube 1-1/2” 492 LPM Underground Diaphragm Pump (PB-15) is designed for high-volume underground mining applications. The Alemlube 1/2” Viton Diaphragm Pump (ALE-15FVT) uses Viton elastomers for superior resistance to petroleum products and halogenated hydrocarbons.
