Selecting the right option
Type C has a hose tail, so pick the size to suit your hose and secure the hose with a clamp or band suited to it; the working pressure of the assembly also depends on the hose and the clamp. It connects to a Type A, E or F adaptor of the same size. Do not weld die cast aluminium couplings (manufacturer-stated), and do not mix aluminium with polypropylene or nyglass fittings (manufacturer-stated). Dixon states that no standard exists for 15 mm (1/2") fittings and that this size generally does not interchange with other manufacturers (manufacturer-stated). Dixon states that dust caps and dust plugs must not be used in any pressure application (manufacturer-stated).
