Frontier Green 40cm welder gauntlet

Frontier Leftie is a 40cm green cowsplit leather welder gauntlet with red half welts, a self hemmed finish and a full jersey sock lining. It is left hand only, supplied as two left gloves. The EN 407 result is 414X4X.

The 414X4X result is burning behaviour level 4, contact heat level 1, convective heat level 4 and small molten metal splash level 4, with radiant heat and large molten metal splash not tested. Used for welding, foundries, smelters, mining and construction. Contact heat level 1 is the lowest level, so do not use these gloves to hold hot surfaces for long. They have no EN 12477 welders' glove result, so check that the glove suits your welding process before you use it. The EN 407 result is read in the order burning behaviour, contact heat, convective heat, radiant heat, small molten metal splash and large molten metal splash. An X means that test was not done, so the glove has no rating for it.
